Artist Profile: Je$$e

Coming out of Cleveland, Ohio. Rising alternative artist Je$$e is making a name for himself across the board. Je$$e has been surrounded by music since a young age with both his dad and grandpa influencing his music taste.

Je$$e's debut single "Barbie" is a emotional alternative hiphop song that is accompanied by a music video directed by John Buchanan from the rising video collective Soul Serum. Je$$e's comeup wasn't a surprise, his song "Barbie" started being used in TikTok videos and all across social media in the edit community. Je$$e is apart of the new wave of artists that are mixing pop punk and alternative hiphop.

Je$$e's sound is starting to really take shape. He frequently posts videos of him performing his unreleased songs on guitar to Instagram and calls them "bedroom tapes". These "bedroom tapes" show Je$$e's creativity and is something that fans are really taking a liking to. His unreleased songs that he plays are pop punk infused, similar to artist MGK. Je$$e recently released a single titled "Forget Me" alongside a video directed by PittTrippMan!
